Here are some pieces from Mr. Beal's first summer at AAC, not bad for a newbie.

This is an in progress photo of Mr. Beal's pig sculptures, which never could've been made without help from Mr. Bolander.

Screen-printing Demo

Here is video of Mr. Bolander doing some screen printing. He showed Mr. Beal a thing or two.

Rocking Chair

This is Mr. Bolander in Mr. Beal's studio. The rocking chair was a place to relax and take a break from working. The studio was a little dirty when this photo was taken.

The Wood Shop

This is Johnny the wood shop guy. Here he is showing Mr. Beal how to cut glass for a frame.

Pop Up Book Artist

This is a British pop up book artist. He came in for common hour at AAC. Mind-blowing stuff.

Here is just one example of his work. Each pop up book had tons of amazing fold out pages.

View from the Studio

This is the view from Mr. Beal's studio, which is just about the same as Mr. Bolander's view. They were right next to each other.

T-shirts

Here is a large T-shirt sign that Mr. Beal made to help sell T-shirts for Mr. Bolander's band Alcatraz Shakedown. The stickers come from shirts that Mr. Bolander screen-printed himself along with his drummer, Josh Thompson.

No-No

On July 3, 2013 Homer Bailey of the Cincinnati Reds threw a no-hitter, which happened to be the only game Mr. Beal and Mr. Bolander attended that year. Great night!
